Ángel Cabrera seals first PGA TOUR Champions win at James Hardie

PGA TOUR Champions returns to Boca Raton, Florida, for the second consecutive year for the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational at The Old Course at Broken Sound.

The tournament features 78 PGA TOUR Champions players who will compete over 54 holes of stroke play from Friday through Sunday, while 26 Pro Football Hall of Famers will take part in a two-man best ball competition over 36 holes on Friday and Saturday.

Three players will make their PGA TOUR Champions debuts this week, including 12-time PGA TOUR winner and two-time major champion (2007 Masters, 2015 The Open Championship) Zach Johnson, five-time PGA TOUR winner (454 starts) Ben Crane and 2017 Sanderson Farms Championship winner Ryan Armour.

The 2026 field includes the tournament's inaugural champion, Ángel Cabrera. The former Masters and U.S. Open champion made a late birdie Sunday for a 1-under 71 to win the inaugural event, earning his first victory on PGA TOUR Champions.

Stewart Cink, 2025 Charles Schwab Cup champion and Player of the Year, will make his first appearance at the James Hardie Pro Football HOF Invitational, seeking his third consecutive victory. With a win Sunday, Cink would become the 10th player in PGA TOUR Champions history to accomplish three consecutive wins. The last to accomplish this feat was Steve Stricker in 2023.
