Jerry Kelly claims 12th PGA TOUR Champions win at SAS Championship
PGA TOUR Champions concludes its regular season this week at the SAS Championship, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, North Carolina, will host the event.
Seven World Golf Hall of Fame members will tee it up, including 2020 champion Ernie Els, 2017 champion Colin Montgomerie and two-time winner (2012, 2018) Bernhard Langer. Defending champion Jerry Kelly is also a two-time winner of the event, taking home the title in 2019 before his triumph last year (2024). The stacked field also includes each of the top 13 in this week's Charles Schwab Cup standings.
At the conclusion of the SAS Championship, the top 72 players in the Charles Schwab Cup standings will advance to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, which begin next week at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic in Richmond, Virginia.
