Ernie Els wins his first senior major at Kaulig Companies Championship

PGA TOUR Champions hits the halfway point of its 2025 season with the third major of the year as Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, hosts the Kaulig Companies Championship from June 19-22, 2025. Defending champion Ernie Els is one of six World Golf Hall of Fame members in the field. Fellow Hall of Famers and past champions Retief Goosen (2019), Vijay Singh (2018) and Bernhard Langer (2014, 2015, 2016) will also tee it up at the famed South Course this week. Other notables include Charles Schwab Cup leader Miguel Angel Jiménez, Padraig Harrington, who is making his debut at this event, and Ángel Cabrera, who won the first two majors of the 2025 season.
