Stephen Ames wins Mitsubishi Electric Classic

PGA TOUR Champions closes out the month of April at the Mitsubishi Electric Classic presented by Vensure. TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia, will host the event for the 12th time.
Stephen Ames aims for his third consecutive victory at the Mitsubishi Electric Classic and his fourth title overall at this event. The 2017, 2023 and 2024 champion is one of two multiple winners in tournament history along with two-time champion (2018, 2022) Steve Flesch.
All eight past winners are in the 2025 field, including World Golf Hall of Fame member Bernhard Langer and Mitsubishi Electric ambassador Miguel Angel Jiménez. Jiménez, the lone two-time winner on PGA TOUR Champions this season, sits atop the Charles Schwab Cup standings. Langer is one of seven Hall of Famers in the field, which also includes Ernie Els and Padraig Harrington.
