The PGA TOUR Champions returns to Boca Raton, Florida, for the first time in 17 months with the inaugural James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational, held April 4-6 at The Old Course at Broken Sound. The event, the seventh on the 2025 schedule, features a unique format that pairs professional golfers with football legends.

Seventy-eight PGA TOUR Champions players will gather to compete over 54 holes of stroke play from Friday to Sunday, while 26 Pro Football Hall of Famers will take part in a two-man Best Ball competition over 36 holes on Friday and Saturday. Notable participants include World Golf Hall of Fame members Retief Goosen, Colin Montgomerie and Vijay Singh, as well as golf stars John Daly, David Duval, two-time PGA TOUR Champions winner this season Miguel Angel Jiménez and Jerry Kelly.

Football stars teeing up over the first two rounds include Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Calvin Johnson, Ed Reed, Warren Sapp, Lawrence Taylor and many more.

The James Hardie Invitational is the only new tournament on the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions schedule and celebrates Boca Raton’s return as a host city after previously holding Champions Tour events from 2007 to 2023. The tournament is the second of three Florida-based events in 2025, following the Chubb Classic in Naples and preceding Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS in Jacksonville.

Among the past Boca Raton champions in this year’s field are Darren Clarke (2020), Scott McCarron (2017), Paul Goydos (2015), Corey Pavin (2012) and Tom Lehman (2011).

The tournament will air live on Golf Channel throughout the weekend, offering fans a chance to watch seasoned golf veterans compete alongside football greats in a one-of-a-kind competition.
