Chubb Classic: Pre-tournament notes, storylines, how to watch

PGA TOUR Champions returns to Naples, Florida, as the Chubb Classic hosts the first full-field tournament of the 2025 season at Tiburón Golf Club’s Black Course.

Five-time champion Bernhard Langer returns to the Chubb Classic after missing last year due to an Achilles injury. With a win this week, he would match Hale Irwin for the most wins at one tournament on PGA TOUR Champions. Langer is one of three World Golf Hall of Fame members in the field this week along with Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai winner Ernie Els and two-time Chubb Classic winner Fred Couples (2010, 2017). Other notables in the field include defending champion Stephen Ames, Darren Clarke and Justin Leonard.
