PGA TOUR Champions heads to Scotland for its final major of the 2024 season at The Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex. Carnoustie Golf Links will host the final senior major for the third time.

Padraig Harrington, 2024 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee and winner of the 2007 Open Championship at Carnoustie, looks to avenge last year’s Senior Open playoff loss to Germany's Alex Cejka. Cejka defeated the Irishman on the second playoff hole at Royal Porthcawl. The championship at Royal Porthcawl was marked by extreme weather conditions, with high winds and rain leading to some of the highest scoring averages in over a decade.

Harrington also finished runner-up at the 2022 Senior Open to Darren Clarke, who is in the field at Carnoustie. They are joined by four-time Senior Open champion and Hall of Famer Bernhard Langer, Nos. 2 and 4 in the Charles Schwab standings Stephen Ames and Steven Alker, five Senior Open qualifiers, Frenchman Jean van de Velde and a slew of others seeking senior major glory this year.
