Stewart Cink defeated Miguel Angel Jiménez with a birdie on the first playoff hole (No. 18) at the 21st Boeing Classic, securing his fifth win of the 2026 season and becoming the first player with five victories in a single season on PGA TOUR Champions since Steve Stricker in 2023.
Stewart Cink, 68-71-65 – 204 (-12)
- Closed with 7-under 65, then defeated Jiménez with a birdie at the par-5 18th on the first playoff hole
- Carded eight birdies against a lone bogey Sunday after beginning the final round four strokes back in a tie for 10th
- The 53-year-old secured his fifth win of the 2026 season in his 14th start, and his ninth win on PGA TOUR Champions in his 50th start.
- Marks his third playoff win of his PGA TOUR Champions career
- Previous instances: 2025 Insperity Invitational, 2025 The Ally Challenge
- His other six victories have come by two or more strokes
- Only playoff win in his PGA TOUR career came at the 2009 Open Championship (defeated Tom Watson)

- Miguel Angel Jiménez (second) forced the playoff with an 8-under 64, playing the back nine in 8-under 28. He set a tournament nine-hole record, birdieing his final six holes. The 62-year-old 2022 Boeing Classic champion led the field with 20 birdies and jumped from No. 12 to No. 8 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
- Denmark’s Søren Kjeldsen (third) carded a bogey-free, 4-under 68 to finish solo third at 11-under 205, moving from No. 20 to No. 14 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. Sunday marked his season-best finish (previous best 2026 finish: fourth Regions Tradition).
- Seven players shared fourth at 10-under 206: Ernie Els, David Toms, George McNeill, Fred Couples, Jerry Kelly, Steve Flesch and Steven Alker.
- World Golf Hall of Fame member Els (T4) matched the day’s low round with a bogey-free, 8-under 64, climbing 53 spots after opening the week T57.
- Seattle native Couples (T4) closed with 3-under 67 to finish fourth in his hometown event at age 66, jumping 20 spots in the Charles Schwab Cup standings (No. 79 to No. 59).
- The 54-hole leader Steven Alker (T4) closed with 1-under 71 and fell to 6-for-14 converting the lead/co-lead entering the final round on PGA TOUR Champions.
- First-round leader Rory Sabbatini (T14) carded an even-par 72 to finish 6 under in his tournament debut.
- Four players went bogey-free Sunday: Kjeldsen (68), Els (64), Steve Allan (68) and Joe Durant (69).
