Steven Alker birdied the par-5 18th for a 4-under 68 Saturday and carries a one-stroke lead over Vaughn Taylor into Sunday’s final round at the 21st Boeing Classic. The New Zealander seeks to become the tournament’s sixth consecutive international champion.

- Carded 4-under 68 with six birdies against two bogeys, capping the round with a birdie at the par-5 18th to move one clear
- The 55-year-old two-time Charles Schwab Cup champion (2022, 2024) seeks his 12th win on the PGA TOUR Champions and second of the 2026 season (Cologuard Classic)
- With a victory, would join Stewart Cink as the only Champions Tour players with at least two wins in 2025 and 2026
- Entered the week at No. 9 in the Charles Schwab Cup with five top-10s on the season

- Vaughn Taylor (second) posted his second consecutive 4-under 68, closing with a birdie at the par-5 18th. The 50-year-old rookie seeks his first win on the PGA TOUR Champions after winning three times on the PGA TOUR, most recently the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He entered the week No. 42 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
- Denmark’s Søren Kjeldsen (T3) carded 5-under 67; Steve Flesch (T3) played his final eight holes in 5 under, capped by an eagle at the par-5 18th, to shoot 69.
- Australia’s Richard Green (T5) climbed 31 spots with a bogey-free, 7-under 65, the low round of the day to match the week’s best.
- Four-time PGA TOUR winner Notah Begay III (T5) posted a bogey-free 5-under 67; he entered the week No. 105 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
- First-round leader Rory Sabbatini (T5) carded 1-over 73, making birdies on two of his final three holes to stay within two of the lead.
- Jerry Kelly (T5) opened with three consecutive birdies to reach 8-under before signing for 1-under 71. The 2017 champion, who held at least a share of the lead after each round that year, seeks his 15th PGA TOUR Champions title and second win of the 2026 season; he owns three top 10s in seven prior Boeing Classic appearances.
- Seattle native Fred Couples (T10) carded 3-under 68.
- Four players went bogey-free Saturday: Green (65), Begay (67), J.J. Henry (70) and Boo Weekley (70).
- Doug Barron and David Duval withdrew prior to the second round.
