INCLUSION
The PGA TOUR aspires to reflect its communities, creating an inclusive and welcoming culture, and be a positive example for all constituents and partners as diversity of thought and background are vital to the success and growth of the organization.
Inclusion Leadership Council
In 2019, PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan established the Inclusion Leadership Council, comprised of executives from diverse backgrounds and work experiences to partner collaboratively throughout the organization to strengthen the TOUR’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to bolster the sport, business and community impact.
$100 Million Campaign
In 2020, the TOUR and its events announced a commitment of at least $100 million over 10 years to support racial equity and inclusion efforts, a goal that was surpassed in only three years in 2023.
Make Golf Your Thing
Additionally in 2020, the golf industry united together under the leadership of Commissioner Jay Monahan and the leaders of the PGA of America, USGA and LPGA to bring greater diversity to our sport and invite all persons of all background to “Make Golf Your Thing.” For more information, visit Make Golf Your Thing.
