His father is a superintendent at his local golf course in Sweden, so his father took him golfing as soon as he learned how to walk.

Earliest golf memory is hitting balls on the driving range with his father.

Almost chose to play ice hockey over golf, and he remains a huge hockey fan, with his favorite NHL team being the Edmonton Oilers.

Amateur Highlights

Played collegiately at Campbell University for four seasons (2017-21), setting the program record for career scoring average (71.17). Won four times, with three of those victories coming as a senior. His win at the 2021 Stitch Intercollegiate, where he carded a final-round 10-under 62 and finished the 54-hole event at 17-under par, earned him an exemption for the Korn Ferry Tour's 2021 REX Hospital Open (he made the cut and finished T72). His first collegiate win came at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook in October 2019, as he shot rounds of 67-68-69 on the Copperhead Course.

Was a two-time All-America Scholar (2019-20, 2020-21), the 2020-21 Big South Conference Golfer of the Year, a three-time All-Big South Conference performer, and the 2017-18 Big South Conference Freshman of the Year at Campbell, helping the Camels win Big South Conference Championships in 2019 and 2021.

His 70.08 scoring average a senior broke Campbell's single-season scoring average record.

As a freshman at the 2018 NCAA Raleigh Regional, he made a 10-foot birdie putt on the third hole of a three-man playoff to clinch the final individual berth for the 2018 NCAA Championship. The playoff also featured 2020-21 Korn Ferry Tour graduate Hayden Buckley, then a senior at Missouri, and Middle Tennessee State's Marcus Byrd.

Helped Sweden win the 2019 European Amateur Team Championship; he defeated Alex Fitzpatrick as Sweden defeated England in the final.
