Personal

Best memory in professional golf was winning the 2021 Bellefonte Open for his first professional win.

Earliest golf memory is playing with his plastic clubs in the backyard.

Shot a 59 outside of tournament play in June 2021, then shot a 60 with a missed 4-footer in September 2021.

Carries two ball markers, one of which is Kentucky themed, the other of which is University of Cincinnati themed; he picks one at the beginning of each week, and if he putts well, he keeps using the same one.

Loves Skyline Chili and says Graeter's Ice Cream is the greatest ice cream in the world.

Dealt with hip and back injuries in the two years leading up to the 2021 Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.

Before his grandfather passed away, he played two rounds of golf in his lifetime; he made a hole-in-one in one of them.

Amateur Highlights

Twice made it to the U.S. Amateur quarterfinals, losing to eventual champion Viktor Hovland in 2018, and falling to Cohen Trolio in 2019.

Played collegiately at University of Cincinnati for four seasons (2015-19), with both of his individual victories coming at the Firestone Invitational; he eagled the 18th hole as a sophomore to win the event the first time. Also finished runner-up at the 2019 American Athletic Conference Championship.

Was the 2017 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, 2019 AAC Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a 2018 All-America Scholar, and a three-time All-AAC selection (2017, 2018, 2019).
