Father, Tony, played golf at Clemson from 1980-83. Son and dad are the first father-son All-ACC duo in Clemson golf history.
Family owns a turf farm.

Amateur Highlights
Played four seasons at Clemson University (2015-19), notching four career victories (tied for the fourth-most in program history behind Jacob Bridgeman, D.J. Trahan, and Chris Patton with five apiece) and earning All-America honors each of his final two seasons, garnering first-team recognition in 2019 and second-team recognition in 2018.
Earned four All-Atlantic Coast Conference accolades, named the 2018-19 ACC Player of the Year, as well as the 2015-16 ACC Freshman of the Year.
Broke D.J. Trahan's school record for single-season scoring average as a senior (69.73 in 2018-19) and ranked second to Doc Redman in program history in career scoring average (71.07) upon exhaustion of his eligibility.
Reached the Round of 32 at the 2016 U.S. Amateur Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club.
