Amateur Highlights
Was a two-time Big Ten Conference Player of the Year, in both 2019 and 2021. He is the only Hawkeye to earn all-conference postseason honors four times.
Was a three-time Ping All-Midwest selection.
Lone college title came at the Hawkeye Invitational at home in Iowa City. Shared the title with Matthew Walker as he caught Walker on the final day by shooting a 64.
In 2016, became the first player to win the Nebraska Junior Match Play Championship and the Nebraska Junior Amateur Championship twice. Later that year, won the Nebraska Amateur for the first of four consecutive titles. At Omaha CC, became the first junior player in 20 years to win the tournament, defeating defending champion Rylee Reinertson. Followed that win with a commanding, seven-stroke victory at Beatrice CC over Michael Colgate. A year later, at Fremont GC, opened with a 67 and coasted to a nine-shot win over Jace Guthmiller. Made history when he won his fourth consecutive state amateur title, winning a seven-hole playoff over Caleb Badura at The CC of Lincoln.
In 2018, won the Nebraska Match Play title, winning his championship 36-hole match, 7 and 6, over Jace Guthmiller at Champions Run in Omaha. It was the eighth of 10 Nebraska Golf Association titles he won in his career, second-most all-time.
Was a three-time winner of the Waterloo Open Amateur in Iowa.
