Lettered in three sports in high school: golf, baseball and soccer.
Met his wife, Olivia, when she qualified for the boys golf team in high school; she went on to become a cheerleader at Clemson University from 2013-17.
Sister-in-law, Mallory Cecil, won the 2009 individual singles national title at the NCAA Championships as a freshman for Duke University's tennis program.
Has two brothers and three sisters.
Favorite athletes are Tiger Woods, Tim Tebow, and Roger Federer.
Favorite bands/musicians include: Needtobreathe, Beautiful Eulogy, Shane and Shane, Mumford and Sons and the Head and the Heart.
Amateur Highlights
Played collegiately for four seasons at University of North Florida (2015-19), where he was a 2019 All-America Third Team selection and 2018 All-America Honorable Mention. Also named the 2019 Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year, and was a three-time All-Atlantic Sun First Team selection (2017, 2018, 2019).
Won three tournaments as a collegian, with his victory at the 2017 Players Amateur earning him an exemption for the PGA TOUR's 2018 RBC Heritage.
Was the MVP of the Bradenton Christian golf team all four years of high school.
