Received the Ben Dyer Memorial Golf Scholarship to attend college at Maryland.
Amateur Highlights
Played four seasons at University of Maryland (2014-18), winning two events individually and garnering All-Big Ten Conference First Team recognition in 2016, along with second-team laurels in 2015 and 2018.
Broke the school record for career scoring average (72.12) and recorded two of the three lowest single-season scoring averages in school history (71.67 in 2015-16, 71.70 in 2017-18).
Won back-to-back North Carolina Opens in 2016 and 2017; he held off a late charge from Jerry Haas to win in 2016, and won a four-man playoff to repeat as champion in 2017.
Won the 2015 North Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship at High Point Country Club.
