First met Texas Tech Coach Greg Sands at the 2015 European Boys’ Championship in Finland and later made a trip to Lubbock. He loved his visit and signed with the Red Raiders.

Tore ligaments in his right wrist that required two surgeries that cut short his senior season in Lubbock. Eventually missed 18 months of his college career, and following the second surgery didn’t pick up a club for 18 months.

Younger brother, Calum, played four seasons for the Texas Tech University men's golf team (2021-25).

Reached as high as No. 6 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Was a second-team Ping and Golfweek All-American selection in 2020.

In 2020, The European Golf Association recognized him as the top-ranked player from the European Men’s Amateur Golf Rankings.

While still in Scotland, won the Scotland Open Amateur and the Scottish Boys Strokeplay in a three-week span in 2015.

As a Texas Tech junior, prevailed to win his first college title, the El Macero Classic in California. Made a birdie on the 54th and final hole to edge teammate Ivan Ramierz and Cal State-Fullerton’s Matt Wilson by a stroke.

Won his second college tournament, The Carmel Cup, in 2019 at Pebble Beach GL. Shot a final-round 65 to edge Julian Perico by a stroke.
