Grew up playing Ice hockey and always wanted to play in the NHL. He had to stop playing due to injuries and was too small at age 14 which led to a career in golf.

Favorite athletes include professional hockey player Trevor Linden, and retired NFL kicker Adam Vinatieri

Earliest golf memory was attending the 2010 U.S. Senior Open (won by Bernhard Langer) at Sahalee with his dad. The first tee shot he saw was a 30-yard 3-wood that hit a tree. He remembers thinking to himself, "Wow. Pros hit bad shots?"

Always uses a special ball marker that his assistant coach got for his team before nationals during his senior year of college.

Charity focus in breast cancer.
