Known to use a 1967 quarter to mark his ball because his dad was born in 1967 and introduced him to the game; he always marks it using the tails side because "tails never fails."

His father, Frank Jr., and his lifelong business partner, Mike Roth, were early pioneers in bringing ATM machines outside banks in the 1990s. Frank Jr. was the CEO and co-owner of Access Cash International, which at one point had roughly 8,500 ATMs across the United States and Canada, making them one of the largest companies in the industry before Frank Jr. and Roth sold the business in 2001.
