Zach Bauchou
Personal
Born and raised in Forest, Virginia, where he grew up playing golf at London Downs Golf Club. Bauchou also played a lot of junior golf events in North Carolina, which exposed him to tougher competition, including the likes of Ben Griffin.
Of choosing Oklahoma State, Bauchou said, “Coming out of high, I felt like if I could play with better people, and guys that were always better than me it would be a good catalyst for me to get better at golf. I was never the best player at Oklahoma State… but I was able to push myself every day. I felt like that was something that really helped me improve.”
Enjoys playing poker with friends, including one friend who goes back to his high school days. While at Oklahoma State, Bauchou, Viktor Hovland and Aman Gupta would play Texas Hold ‘Em in the evenings.
Likes watching movie reviews / breakdowns and video game reviews on YouTube; he enjoys movies, but has a hard time carving out enough time to sit and watch them given the time spent between his golf game and parenting.
