Amateur career highlights included a victory at the 2015 Australian Amateur at The Australian Golf Club, a co-runner-up finish at the 2015 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, and earning individual medalist honors at the 2016 World Amateur Team Championship (Eisenhower Trophy), where he, Harrison Endycott, and Curtis Luck led Australia to a 19-stroke victory in the team competition.
