Began his collegiate career at the University of Mississippi before transferring to Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis; he won four events in the 2005-06 season and garnered a 2006 NAIA All-America First Team honor at Missouri Baptist. Won four events in college and was both a Ping All-America selection and an NAIA All-America.
