Earliest golf memory was being penalized for moving some grass when he was 7.

Biggest thrill in golf is hitting a great shot and having the fans go wild.

Supports a nonprofit organization called Immerse Arkansas designed to help kids who have aged out of the foster care system. He additionally has a connection with a nonprofit organization called Community Connections which gives kids with special needs

He and his wife have a golden retriever that is named Arnie Palmer in honor of the king.

Amateur Highlights

Played four seasons at University of Texas-Arlington (2007-11), earning All-Southland Conference First Team recognition in 2010 and 2011, along with a second-team laurel in 2009; he was also the 2008-09 Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year, won one individual title, and helped the team win the 2011 Southland Conference Championship.

Tied for medalist honors at the 2009 Southland Conference Championship, but lost a three-man playoff for the title.

Set a program record for career scoring average (73.10).
