Joined his older brother, Nick in the Murray State University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020.
Older brother, Nick, played college golf at University of Louisville (2005-07) and Murray State University (2007-10); he was inducted into the Murray State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020 having been named the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, in addition to being a two-time medalist at the OVC Championship with victories in 2008 and 2010.
Favorite golf memory is winning first tournament he played, at age 10.
One of his cousins, Brandon Henson, earned medalist honors at the 2001 Ohio Valley Conference Championship while playing for Murray State University.
Amateur Highlights
Played collegiate golf at Murray State University (2009-13), where he collected nine individual wins and was the back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013, in addition to medalist at the OVC Championship in 2013.
Won the Kentucky State Amateur Championship in consecutive years, in 2011 and 2012. Shot 68-69-72 to win in 2011 and 68-67-71 to win in 2012.
In 2012, Monday qualified for the Korn Ferry Tour's United Leasing Championship in Indiana but missed the cut.
