Amateur Highlights
Played a season and a half at University of North Carolina-Greensboro (2013-14), where he won two events and was named the 2013-14 Southern Conference Freshman of the Year, after which he transferred to University of North Carolina and played a season and a half (2015-16) for the Tar Heels.
Earned a 2016 All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection at North Carolina.
Runner-up at the 2015 Porter Cup, as he fell to future PGA TOUR member Denny McCarthy in a playoff.
Won the 2015 North Carolina Amateur Championship, as well as three consecutive Carolinas Amateur Championship (2013-2015), the first to accomplish a three-peat since 1923.
Broke the Wildwood Green Golf Club course record with a 59 in 2012.
