Enjoyed a stellar amateur career, winning the 2001 South American Championship, the 2002 Chile Open, the 2003 Junior Orange Bowl. Earned solo-fifth honors in the individual competition at the 2006 World Amateur Team Championship in Puerto Rico.

Two-time All-American while at Arizona State.

Runner-up at the 2012 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship (15-17).
