Exposed to high-level golf at a young age from his father, who played in numerous British and U.S. Amateurs.
Three-time Connecticut State Amateur champion (1994-95, 1998).
Awarded the 1998 CSWA Bill Lee Award given to the state's Male Athlete of the Year by the Connecticut Sportswriters Association.
Was the 1998 New England Amateur champion and a 1998 first-team NCAA All-American and Co-Player of the Year.
In 2006, founded the Henry House Foundation, which funds tangible projects to promote health care and well being for children in Fort Worth, Texas and southern New England. The Foundation's website is henryhousefoundation.com.
