A career-changing four weeks at the Korn Ferry Tour Finals

The four-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals brings the season-long points race to a dramatic close, as 20 PGA TOUR cards are awarded at the conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region in mid-October.
The Korn Ferry Tour Finals format features reduced fields for each of the four events (156, 132, 100, 60 players). Eligibility into each tournament is determined by the cumulative Points List entering that event.
2025 Korn Ferry Tour Finals schedule
| Field Size | Date | Tournament | City, State | Purse |
| 156 | Sept. 10-13 | Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation | Franklin, Tennessee | $1.5M |
| 132 | Sept. 17-20 | Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship | Columbus, Ohio | $1.5M |
| 100 | Oct. 1-4 | Compliance Solutions Championship | Owasso, Oklahoma | $1.5M |
| 60 (no cut) | Oct. 8-11 | Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region | Glen Allen, Virginia | $1.5M |
Each Korn Ferry Tour Finals event features elevated points (600 to the winner, compared to 500 for a regular season event), increasing volatility as the chase for PGA TOUR membership unfolds. Eligibility for each Korn Ferry Tour Finals event is determined by the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.
The top 60 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List upon conclusion of the Compliance Solutions Championship, the third of four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events, qualify for the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region, as well as full status for the 2027 Korn Ferry Tour season.
The top 20 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List upon conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by Virginia’s Richmond Region will earn 2027 PGA TOUR membership.
First introduced in 2013, the Korn Ferry Tour Finals previously comprised the top 75 on the Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season Points List and Nos. 126-200 on the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup standings (as well as non-members and medical extensions) in a series to determine a second set of 25 TOUR cards (in addition to 25 cards from the Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season Points List, with these players competing in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals to finalize their position on the PGA TOUR Priority Ranking). The current Korn Ferry Tour Finals system was introduced in 2023, with Finals events strictly serving as a series of season-ending events with elevated purses and points allocations.
The reimagined system is similar to the FedExCup Playoffs in the sense that overall field size is reduced after each event as the series progresses. In the previous iteration of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, all participants were eligible for all events, with no field reduction between events.
