Justin Suh earned his second Korn Ferry Tour title Sunday at the 118 Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro, carding 23-under 257 at Jockey Club for a five-shot win over Ian Holt, Cole Sherwood and S.H. Kim.
With the victory, Suh earned a spot in The Open Championship at Royal Portrush this summer. It will mark his fifth career start in a major championship.
Suh, 27, held a one-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round in Argentina, and he pulled away with three birdies in his last four holes for a closing 5-under 65. The University of Southern California alum went bogey-free for the weekend at Jockey Club (60-65).
Suh earned his first PGA TOUR card via the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour, a sparkling campaign that included a win at the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance for the No. 1 spot on the season-long standings and Player of the Year honors. He finished No. 72 on the FedExCup Fall standings as a TOUR rookie in 2023, but he lost his card at No. 165 on the 2024 FedExCup Fall.
Suh was a highly acclaimed amateur golfer who reached No. 1 on the World Amateur Golf Ranking before turning pro in 2019. Injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic briefly halted his ascent to the Korn Ferry Tour – he was a regular on the Monday qualifying circuit in his early days as a pro – but he found a quick comfort zone in his first Korn Ferry Tour campaign in 2022. Now he’s on track for another successful season on the PGA TOUR’s premier pathway circuit.
The victory moved Suh from No. 37 to No. 2 on the season-long Korn Ferry Tour Points List. The top 20 on the season-long standings, finalized after the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in mid-October, will earn 2026 PGA TOUR membership.
