As the calendar shifts to March, PGA TOUR Champions heads to Tucson, Arizona, for the Cologuard Classic. For the fifth year in a row, Cologuard’s "Pairings with a Pro" initiative will see players competing on behalf of colon cancer patients and survivors, or in memory of those who have been affected by colorectal cancer.
La Paloma Country Club will host the event for the second time, as each of the first nine playings were held at the Omni Tucson National. Eight of the 10 past champions of the Cologuard Classic are in the 2025 field, including World Golf Hall of Fame member and 2020 champion Bernhard Langer. The star-studded field is also set to showcase 33 of the top 36 from the 2024 Charles Schwab Cup standings. Each of the top five players in this year’s Charles Schwab Cup standings, including current leader and World Golf Hall of Fame member Ernie Els, will also tee it up in Tucson this week. Two other World Golf Hall of Fame members pad the 78-player field: Retief Goosen and Padraig Harrington.
