Steven Alker makes birdie on No. 17 at Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic

Steven Alker birdied Nos. 16 and 17 and closed with a 4-under 66 to win the inaugural Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic presented by Sodexo by one stroke over Tag Ridings, earning his fourth victory of the season and third in his last four starts.

  • Overcame a one-stroke 54-hole deficit to Michael Block. Drew even with an opening birdie, trailed by one after a bogey at No. 3, then took the lead for good with birdies at Nos. 4 and 5; a bogey at No. 8 cut the margin to one before birdies at Nos. 11, 16 and 17 carried him home
  • Improved to 3-for-5 when playing in the last group of the final round this season

Other notes

  • Tag Ridings (second) made seven birdies (Nos. 3, 4, 6, 9, 11, 16, 17) against one bogey in a 6-under 64 and finished one stroke back. The 52-year-old secured his third runner-up finish (previous: second, 2025 Galleri Classic; T2, 2025 Simmons Bank Championship) and moves from No. 31 to No. 21 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
  • Fifty-four-hole leader Michael Block (third) closed with 69. He was one back standing on the 18th tee before a closing bogey. His solo third is his best finish on PGA Tour Champions (previous: T3, 2026 Ally Challenge, where he also led after 36 holes), in his seventh start on a sponsor exemption.
  • Charles Schwab Cup leader Stewart Cink (T4) made eight birdies in a 7-under 63 that matched Block's second-round 63 as the low round of the tournament, climbing from T13 to T4. He extends his lead in the standings to $478,061 over Zach Johnson ($3,773,675 to $3,295,614).
  • Robert Karlsson (T4) eagled the par-5 sixth en route to a 66, and Richard Green (T4) birdied Nos. 17 and 18 in a 68; both were first-round co-leaders with Y.E. Yang, who finished seventh (68).
  • Tournament records established in the inaugural event: low 18-hole score, 63 (Block, Round 2; Cink, Round 3); low 36-hole score, 129 (Block); low 54-hole score, 196 (Alker); low nine-hole score, 30 (Tommy Gainey, R1 back nine; Block, R2 back nine).

  • The Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic is the third of six events in the Sprint to St. Louis presented by Compliance Solutions. The three highest Charles Schwab Cup Points earners among the final five regular-season events will be deemed finalists, with the best tournament finisher at the Stifel Charity Classic claiming the $200,000 prize.
