This week's field is filled from the top 156 available and committed players from the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, with the top 156 players following this event gaining entry to the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, the first of four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events.

The tournament takes place at Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri, featuring a par-72, 7,383-yard layout. The event carries a $1 million purse with $180,000 going to the winner.

Notables in the field

  • Rookie Jackson Buchanan stands No. 48 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List after his fifth-place finish at the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron. Over his last six starts, Buchanan has logged three top-10 finishes and an additional top 25. Buchanan recorded only one top-25 finish over his first 13 starts of the 2026 season.
  • Hunter Eichhorn stands No. 7 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of a runner-up finish at the Visit Knoxville Open, where he lost a playoff to Doc Redman. Eichhorn, who leads the Korn Ferry Tour with nine top-10 finishes, grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, frequenting Wild Pines Golf Course – a nine-hole course in Hermanville, Michigan – with his grandpa. Later played collegiately at Marquette University (2017-22).
  • Robby Shelton stands No. 18 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, following his second consecutive top-three finish. Shelton followed up a solo-third finish at the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Woodhouse with a T2 at last week's Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron. Over his past two starts, Shelton has climbed from No. 55 to No. 18 on the 2026 Points List.
  • Davis Shore is coming off a career-best finish with a T2 at the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron. The Knoxville, Tennessee, native carded a bogey-free, 8-under 63 in the final round to record his second top-five finish of the season. Shore climbed into the top 20 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List to No. 15 off the strength of his T2 and three additional top-10 finishes.
  • Columbia, Missouri, native Ross Steelman captured his second Korn Ferry Tour victory at last week's Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron, effectively securing his PGA TOUR card for the 2027 season. Steelman becomes the second Korn Ferry Tour member to secure TOUR membership for the 2027 season, along with Doc Redman. Steelman overtook Redman for the No. 1 position on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of his two victories and five additional top-10 finishes.
