Austin Smotherman makes birdie putt on No. 18 at BMW Charity Pro-Am

Austin Smotherman carded a bogey-free 8-under 63 in the final round of the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS to win by one stroke over 54-hole leader Alvaro Ortiz.
Austin Smotherman (first/25-under)
- Earned his third career Korn Ferry Tour title (2021 Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, 2025 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX) and second of the season in his 94th career start at 31 years, 1 month, 10 days of age
- Won via an eagle on the par-4 12th and six birdies (Nos. 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 16) in the final round
- Trailed Ortiz by four shots heading into the final round; marks the sixth time this season that a winner has registered a come-from-behind win by at least four strokes
- With his victory, claims the No. 1 spot on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, overtaking Johnny Keefer
- Should Smotherman earn a third victory this season, he will earn an immediate promotion to the PGA TOUR via the Three-Victory Promotion
- Becomes the first multiple-time winner this season
- Improves to 3-for-4 in converting 36-hole leads into victory, with two of those instances coming from this season; marks the fifth time this season the 36-hole leader/co-leader has gone on to win

- In his third professional start on the Korn Ferry Tour, Preston Summerhays (T7/21-under) notches the first top-10 finish of his career and records a new 72-hole score in 21-under 263; Summerhays finished T48 in his Korn Ferry Tour debut earlier this month at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX after earning exempt membership on Tour via his No. 7 finish in the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking.
