Father, Tom, has often served as his caddie.

Was a three-year baseball letterman in high school and originally went to San Jacinto College to play baseball. A shoulder injury ended his baseball career. Didn't begin competing competitively in golf until his sophomore year.

Says golf was always a big part of family vacations. Remembers as a young boy waking up his dad early every day so they could golf as much as possible.

Participates in his church's daycare ministry alongside his in-laws and wife.
