    Players to Watch

    • J.M. Butler (United States) – Nearly a year removed from making his professional debut, Butler captured his first career win as a professional at the Bupa Championship. With the win, Butler overtook the No. 1 spot in the Fortinet Cup points list and secured conditional Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2026 season.
    • Hunter Wolcott (United States) – Wolcott sits at No. 3 in the Fortinet Cup after the Latin America Swing. A native of Tennessee, Wolcott broke through at the Diners Club Peru Open for his first professional win. Wolcott finished as the No. 34 player in the 2024 Fortinet Cup after earning status through PGA TOUR Americas Mid-Season Q-School.
    • Jay Card III (United States) – Card battled through tough conditions and various delays in Quito to claim his first career win as a professional at the KIA Open. Card has appeared in all six events of the PGA TOUR Americas season and sits at No. 6 in the Fortinet Cup.
    • Maxwell Moldovan (United States) – After a rookie season where Moldovan missed eight cuts in nine starts, the second-year pro broke through for his first professional win at the 70th ECP Brazil Open. The Ohio State product made his fourth career start at the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club in June before the start of the North America Swing. Moldovan followed up his win with a T9 finish at the KIA Open and holds the No. 5 spot in the Fortinet Cup.
    • Davis Lamb (United States) – Despite inclement weather, Lamb carded an 11-under 61 in the opening round of the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship to vault himself to the top of the leaderboard. Lamb moved to No. 2 in the Fortinet Cup points list and secured conditional Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2026 season.
    • Hunter Thomson (Canada) – After his win at the NCAA Urbana Regional, Thomson moved into the top-25 of the PGA TOUR University Ranking, where he made history as the first Canadian to graduate from PGA TOUR University. A native of Calgary, Thomson made his professional debut at the RBC Canadian Open and claimed his first professional win at The Glencoe Invitational, a local event in Calgary.
    • Jackson Buchanan (United States) – After finishing his collegiate career at Illinois, Buchanan will make his first start on PGA TOUR Americas after playing in the U.S. Open. The No. 12 player in the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking, Buchanan was the recipient of the 2025 Byron Nelson Award, which recognizes a student athlete for his impact on the course, in the classroom and in the community.
    • Michael Brennan (United States) – Brennan, a Fortinet Ambassador, has not missed a cut this season and registered four top-10s in the Latin America Swing. Brennan has not fallen outside of the top 10 of the Fortinet Cup all season and currently holds the No. 7 spot.
    • Adam Duncan (United States) – Duncan will make his professional debut after winning the DII Jack Nicklaus Award. Duncan is the first player to earn PGA TOUR Americas performance benefits as the DII Player of the Year.
    • Vicente Marzilio (Argentina) – After Monday Qualifying for the first two events of the season, Marzilio recorded two top-5s in Latin America, securing his status for the remainder of the season. The Argentinian is the top Latin in the Fortinet Cup and sits at No. 9 in the points list.
    • A.J. Ewart (Canada) – Ewart has been a model of consistency in 2025 with six made cuts in six starts, including three straight top-15 finishes to end the Latin America Swing. Ewart is currently No. 13 in the Fortinet Cup heading into the Explore NB Open.

    Fortinet Cup overview

    The Explore NB Open is the first event of the North America Swing, and the 156-player field features all six tournament winners of the season and the top 10 players in the Fortinet Cup points list. Additionally, 13 members of the PGA TOUR University Class of 2025 and 52 exempt members from PGA TOUR Americas QSchool will make their 2025 season debuts in New Brunswick
