The third round of the Genesis Scottish Open was suspended at 7:55 p.m. BST due to fog. Play will restart at 7:00 a.m. BST Sunday, with the final round featuring a one tee start in threesomes and will not start before 10:15 a.m., according to PGA TOUR Communications via X.
As play was suspended Saturday evening, Matt Fitzpatrick and Michael Thorbjornsen were tied for the lead at 11 under. Fitzpatrick is 3-under par through eight holes as he eyes his fourth victory of the season. Rookie Johnny Keefer, reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, and defending champion Chris Gotterup headline the pack one shot back of the leaders.
Rory McIlroy, who was tied for the 36-hole lead, now finds himself five shots back of the leaders after shooting 3 over through eight holes as the horn sounded.
