DUBLIN, Ohio —The third round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday was suspended again for inclement weather in the area around Muirfield Village at 4:35 p.m. ET and play has since been called for the remainder of the day.

Round 3 is set for a 7:30 a.m. restart Sunday morning, with the final round scheduled to tee off from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in groups of three off two tees.

This is the second time play has been suspended. An initial band of thunderstorms swept through the area in the late morning, delaying play for just over an hour and forty minutes.

Round 3 of the Memorial initially resumed at 1:00 p.m. after inclement weather caused play to be delayed for more than an hour. The final pairing of J.T. Poston and Ryan Gerard teed off at 3:20 p.m. They were on the sixth green when play was suspended again. The two were tied for the lead at 9-under.

The official PGA TOUR forecast called for a cluster of thunderstorms to impact Dublin, Ohio, Saturday morning and again late in the day. The first round of thunderstorms was forecast between 9 a.m. and noon, with additional thunderstorm development expected after 5 p.m. and additional severe weather possible in the evening.

Over half the field was still on the golf course when play was suspended. Justin Thomas was one of the players who had already finished. Asked how the golf course compared before and after the initial delay, Thomas said it was "not even golf close."

"A completely different golf course," he said.

Low scores were out there as the leaders began. Everyone inside the top-20 of the leaderboard was even-par or better on their third round when play was suspended.
