Play was suspended during the second round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship due to severe weather in the Memphis, Tennessee, area and will not resume for the remainder of Friday.

Round 2 resumed at 7:30 a.m. CT Saturday morning. Round 3 is expected to begin between 9:50 and 11:50 a.m. CT off both Nos. 1 and 10 tees in threesomes.

Justin Rose is the highest player on the leaderboard who has not completed two rounds. Rose is T2, four shots behind leader Tommy Fleetwood, with two holes remaining in his second round.

Jacob Bridgeman, who will face a 7-foot par putt on No. 18 to conclude his second round, and Maverick McNealy, who still has five holes remaining, are the only other players in the top 10 of the leaderboard who have not completed 36 holes. Bridgeman and McNealy are both T7 and 7 under par.

Twenty-one of the 69 players in the field will need to complete their second round Saturday morning. The final group has eight holes remaining.

The horn was blown at 3:31 p.m. local time after thunder was heard near TPC Southwind. Heavy rains and reported hail then moved into the area, soaking the course.

Friday's forecast called for a partly sunny morning with a passing light shower possible early, then cloudy skies for the majority of the day with a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and a possible brief heavy downpour. Temperatures were expected to reach a high of 93° F with a heat index peaking near 100° F and south to southeasterly winds increasing to 7-12 mph by mid-morning.
