Uplands Golf Course hosts the Times Colonist Victoria Open presented by Andrew Sheret Limited as the final full-field event of the PGA TOUR Americas season. Uplands has been the permanent home of the Victoria Open since 2008, as a par 70 and 6,420-yard course.

The top 120 players in the Fortinet Cup will qualify for the season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship, which will be played the following week, Sept. 25-28.

The 156-player field includes all 12 tournament winners from this season and all the players in the top 10 of the Fortinet Cup points list. Additionally, 15 members of the PGA TOUR University Class of 2025 and 51 exempt members from PGA TOUR Americas Q-School are in the field this week. The winner will earn 500 Fortinet Cup points and take home $40,500 of the $225,000 purse.

Players to watch

• Michael Brennan (United States) – A Fortinet Ambassador and the No. 1 player in the Fortinet Cup Points List, Brennan is coming off his third win in the last four PGA TOUR Americas events. With his victory at the ATB Classic this past Sunday, he secured exempt Korn Ferry Tour membership through the 2026 season via the Three-Victory Promotion. Brennan made his professional debut at this event last year and returns to Uplands Golf Club ranked No. 121 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
• Derek Hitchner (United States) – Only Brennan has played better than him in the last two events. Both of their head-to-head battles ended with Brennan winning by a slim margin. The back-to-back runner-up finishes vaulted him from 61st to 10th in the Fortinet Cup.
• Davis Lamb (United States) – Coming off a tie for third this past Sunday in Edmonton, Lamb has registered six top-10s this season. He is currently the No. 2 player in the Fortinet Cup.
• David Perkins (United States) – Following a strong season in which he has recorded 12 top 30 finishes, including a win at the Explore NB Open, he makes it to Victoria as No. 3 in the Fortinet Cup. He has good memories of Uplands Golf Club, where he tied for ninth last year.
• Riley Lewis (United States) – He flirted with the possibility of a win on Sunday at the ATB Classic and has now tied for third in two of the last three events. He has improved his position to 13th in the Fortinet Cup and is only 85 points outside the top 10.
• John Marshall Butler (United States) – Making his pro debut at the 2024 Victoria Open, he opened with rounds of 63-64 to share the lead before finishing in a tie for fifth. He makes his return to this venue as No. 6 in the Fortinet Cup.
• Justin Hastings (Cayman Islands) – He is coming off a memorable week at the PGA TOUR’s Procore Championship in Napa, California, where he got paired with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in Saturday’s third round. Tied for 7th through 36 holes, he finished T26. With no top 25s in five PGA TOUR Americas starts this season, he needs a strong week to qualify for next week’s season-ending event.
• A.J. Ewart (Canada) – A Coquitlam, British Columbia, native, this 26-year-old became a PGA TOUR Americas champion last season with a win at the Elk Ridge Saskatchewan Open. Ranked 25th, with three top 10s in 14 starts, he enters the week as the leading Canadian in the Fortinet Cup.
• Jeevan Sihota (Canada) – This 21-year-old Victoria native makes his return to PGA TOUR Americas, where he made 13 starts last season. Playing near home this year, he has been dominating on the Vancouver Golf Tour.
