After starting the third round with a four-stroke lead, Brennan carded a 2-over 74 on Saturday, while Hitchner turned in a 2-under 70 to take a share of the lead heading into the final round.
In 13 starts on PGA TOUR Americas this season, Brennan, a Fortinet Ambassador, entered the week at No. 1 in the Fortinet Cup points list with two wins in his last three starts.
