Began his college career at the University of Nevada, playing two years in Reno, before transferring to Pepperdine.

Won the 2020 California Amateur Championship at Torrey Pines GC’s South Course in La Jolla, California, beating Ben Reiter, 3 and 2, in the final match.

Was a Golfweek and GCAA/Ping second-team All-American in 2021, helping lead Pepperdine to the NCAA Championship.

Was a 2019 All-Mountain West Conference first-team selection as a sophomore while playing at Nevada.

Won twice in 2018. First triumph came at the Badger Invitational, defeating Iowa State’s Lachlan Barker by three shots. Was a stroke behind Barker with 18 holes to play but shot a final-round 65. Followed that with a victory at the Nick Watney Invitational, shooting rounds of 66-66-70 to take down BYU’s Carson Lundell by two strokes.
