Mother, Annette, played on Colorado State's golf team. She is a multiple time club championship winner both Salt Lake CC and Oakridge CC.

Parents accidentally left him at Utah’s Oakridge CC when he was age eight. Didn't even realize it until they picked him up about 90 minutes past the appointed time. He was unbothered, continuing to practice on the putting green the whole time.

Finished runner-up in back-to-back seasons at the Utah State Amateur, the longest continually running golf tournament in the world. Lost in 2020 to former Ute teammate Mitchell Schow at Jeremy Ranch G&CC then dropped the final match to Ute teammate Martin Leon in 39 holes at Alpine CC in 2020.

Was a 2022 Pac-12 Conference honorable mention selection

Captured the 2021 Pat Hicks Thunderbird Collegiate, tying for medalist honors with Albert Boneta and Ludvig Aberg. His 54-hole score of 201 (65-66-70) is the lowest in Utah golf history.
