In 2020, won the California State Fair Amateur in Sacramento, opening and closing with a pair of 67s to edge the duo of Brett Viboch and Blake Hathcoat by a shot.

After arriving in the U.S., used a final-round 68 to edge Noah Woolsey by a stroke at the Bayonet Black Horse Amateur in Monterey, California.
