Grew up on a golf course in Oklahoma. Would ride in his parents' cart and hit a plastic ball all the way to the greet for the entire round.
Used to always attend the AT&T Byron Nelson with his dad when he was younger.
Favorite golf memory is his first time watching PGA TOUR pros in person.
Amateur Highlights
Played five seasons at Baylor University (2016-21), earning a 2021 All-America Scholar nod.
Won the 2019 Texas Amateur at Dallas Athletic Club, defeating Paul Gonzales and Scott Abbott by four shots in rainy, wet conditions. His mom served as his caddie that week.
Was one of four players to earn the 2016 Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award. Received the honor along with Cooper Dossey, Philip Barbaree and Davis Shore for distinguishing themselves with a high level of junior tournament play as well as excellence in academics, exceptional character and a commitment to community service.
Garnered 2015 AJGA All-America Second Team recognition alongside Austin Eckroat, Wilson Furr, Noah Goodwin, Kaito Onishi, Sahith Theegala, Norman Xiong, and Cameron Young.
