Played four seasons at Miami (Ohio) University (2014-18), where he was a four-time All-Mid-American Conference First Team selection, the 2015 MAC Freshman of the Year, garnered two All-America Scholar laurels, and broke school records for career scoring average (72.99) and career wins (eight)
Won the 2017 Illinois State Amateur Championship, in addition to winning the 2017 Illinois Open at The Glen Club, host of the Korn Ferry Tour's NV5 Invitational, while still an amateur; he was the second player in history to win both tournaments in the same year (previous was David Ogrin in 1980)
Qualified for match play at the 2018 Western Amateur (defeated by Spencer Ralston in first round)
Prepped at Highland Park High School in Illinois.
