James Hahn stayed with the Mueller family when he was in town for the Korn Ferry Tour event in Athens, Ga.

His mother, Monica, was tragically killed in a single-car accident in the summer of 2016 while traveling to watch him in an amateur golf tournament. A veterinarian, Monica founded Good Hands Veterinarian Hospital in 2001.

The loss of his mother helped him realize how individual actions can have a positive impact on the lives of others. He uses an acronym continually repeated by his mother: PACE (Positive Attitude Changes Everything).

Was an All-American honorable mention selection at the University of Michigan .

Received the David Toms Overcoming Adversity Award in 2017 to become first Wolverine earn that honor.
