Played on the same high school golf team at Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, Washington, as current Korn Ferry Tour golfers RJ Manke and Joe Highsmith, the same high school that PGA TOUR golfer Kyle Stanley attended.

One of his aspirations is to learn to play the piano.

Won the 2023 Hanny Stanislaus Invitational, starting and closing with 70s to edge Luke Dugger by two strokes.

Played five seasons at Western Washington University (2018-23), an NCAA Division II program in Bellingham, Washington, where he was named the 2018-19 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, as well as a 2018-19 Freshman All-American.
