Conner Godsey, David Pastore lead at Diners Club Peru Open

Conner Godsey (Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida) and David Pastore (Greenwich, Connecticut) opened with rounds of 9-under 63 at Los Inkas Golf Club to tie the course record and share the first-round lead at the Diners Club Peru Open, the third event of the PGA TOUR Americas season.

This marks the first time two 63s have been carded in the same year, and the score has been posted nine times by eight players. Godsey becomes the first player to shoot 63 at Los Inkas Golf Club twice, as he also shot 63 in the second round last year en route to a T33 finish.
Walker Lee (Houston, Texas) is third after carding an 8-under 64 Thursday, while three players are T4 at 7-under.
Coming off a win two weeks ago at the 94 Abierto del Centro Zurich presentado por Personal, Patrick Flavin (Highwood, Illinois) opened with a 5-under 67 and is T14.
Defending champion Hunter Wolcott (Dickson, Tennessee) is T58 at 2-under, while 2023 champion Marcos Montenegro (Loberia, Argentina) opened with a 6-under 66 and is T7.
