Players to watch
- Michael Brennan (United States) – A Fortinet Ambassador and the No. 1 player in the Fortinet Cup Points List, Brennan finished T5 at the Times Colonist Victoria Open presented by Andrew Sheret Limited, just one week after winning his third event of the year at the ATB Classic to secure exempt status on the Korn Ferry Tour for 2026. He also finished T3 at the 2024 Fortinet Cup Championship.
- Drew Nesbitt (Canada) – After becoming the first Canadian to win on PGA TOUR Americas in 2025 at the Times Colonist Victoria Open presented by Andrew Sheret Limited, Nesbitt moved into the top 10 for the first time this season, climbing to No. 7 in the Fortinet Cup standings. An Ontario native, Nesbitt defeated A.J. Ewart in a playoff at Uplands Golf Club to secure his first professional victory.
- Carson Bacha (United States) – Entering the week as the No. 10 player in the Fortinet Cup, Bacha has recorded three top-10 finishes this season and captured his first professional win at the Osprey Valley Open. A top-10 finish in the Fortinet Cup standings would earn him a Korn Ferry Tour card and an exemption into the Final Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
- Vicente Marzilio (Argentina) – Currently ranked No. 25 in the Fortinet Cup Points List, Marzilio would earn an exemption into the Second Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry if he maintains his position inside the top 25. He has competed in every event this season, with his best result being a runner-up finish at the Bupa Championship.
- Caden Fioroni (United States) – Ranked No. 16 in the 2024 PGA TOUR University Ranking, Fioroni has not missed a cut since making his professional debut at the Explore NB Open and enters the week at No. 80 in the Fortinet Cup. At the conclusion of the Fortinet Cup Championship, the top 80 players will retain PGA TOUR Americas membership for the start of the 2026 season. Fioroni made headlines in his second start by carding an opening-round 60, including an albatross on the final hole, to set a new course record at the Bromont Open presented by Desjardins.
