Dillon Stewart secures first career PGA TOUR Americas win at Bromont Open presented by Desjardins

    BROMONT, Québec – After play was suspended on Sunday due to inclement weather, Dillon Stewart returned to Golf Château-Bromont on Monday morning to secure his first career PGA TOUR Americas win in his second career start at the Bromont Open presented by Desjardins. Stewart earned his first win in his second career PGA TOUR-sanctioned start, after earning membership for the 2025 North America Swing through PGA TOUR Americas Q-School in June. Stewart, who competed at the USA WEST site at Soboba Springs Golf Club in San Jacinto, California, finished T8 to earn membership on a PGA TOUR-sanctioned tour for the first time.

    After back-to-back rounds of 7-under 63 to start the event, followed up by a 4-under 66 on Saturday, Stewart held shares of the 36 and 54-hole leads. After finishing his final round on Monday, Stewart put the finishing touches on a 3-under 67 with a par on No. 18 to secure his maiden title. Stewart made his PGA TOUR Americas debut at the Explore NB Open, where he finished T9. With a win under his belt, Stewart moves up 64 spots into the top 10 of the Fortinet Cup points list, where he sits at No. 9. The Oklahoma State alum also secures exempt membership on PGA TOUR Americas through the 2026 Latin America Swing. Stewart is expected to be in the field at the Commissionaires Ottawa Open presented by Lépine Apartments from July 24-27.
